Youth for Understanding is a non-profit youth exchange organisation, providing exchange programmes for 15 to 18 year old students in more than 50 countries world wide. The European umbrella organisation EEE-YFU organised a summer workshop in France on Global Citizenship Education for her volunteers coming from all European countries. Maks vzw, the Belgian partner of the European Brights project, was invited to present the methodolgy of digital storytelling to address global issues in and outside of the school. After some practical storytelling exercices, the young people where eager to deepen their knowledge on the subject and the methodology.
