Co-funded by the European Union

The Move Inclusion project aims to promote a more inclusive society by making young people aware of the realities of migration and cultural diversity. This European project, implemented in cooperation with organisations in Spain, Italy, Cyprus and Belgium, has developed a number of teaching tools, including an interactive goose board game and an activity guide to work with young people on the theme of immigration. All these tools are available for free on the website move-inclusion.eu.

Two major events to close the project in 2024

To conclude Move Inclusion, Maks vzw is organising two events in 2024:

A national event on 7 October, attended by more than 40 guests, where we presented the results of the project and discussed the challenges and good practices of social inclusion in Belgium.

An international event on 21 November 2024 in Brussels, with more than 40 participants and several well-known speakers.

This international event took place in Brussels and began with a lecture by Gonzalo Fanjul, who spoke about the increasing polarisation and rise of the far-right in Europe. One of the highlights was a World Café workshop aimed at developing 10 concrete measures to combat racism and promote the inclusion of young migrants in Europe.

The event ended with a presentation of the results of the Move Inclusion project by Jovesólides and a closing session.

These initiatives helped promote dialogue between people working on the ground, young people and political decision-makers, strengthening the project’s impact at local and European level.
