In 2024, the TOSA programme continued its commitment in collaboration with Bruxelles Formation with three 60-hour modules. Among the many stories, one stands out in particular.

A mother of seven children showed exceptional determination during her training. Always the first to ask questions, constantly seeking clarification, she approached each session with remarkable energy.

What makes her journey even more impressive is the family support she received for her project. Her mother came from Romania especially to look after the children while she attended classes. Her husband even took a day off work during her final exams so that she could concentrate fully.

The result of this determination? A near-perfect score of almost 1000 points out of 1000 on the TOSA exam. This achievement not only demonstrates her newly acquired technical skills, but also her ability to overcome obstacles thanks to her unwavering willpower.

But the story doesn’t end there. Today, this former student has taken an extra step by joining the team of adult trainers at Maks vzw. Her journey perfectly illustrates our mission: not only to develop digital skills, but also to transform lives.

This transition from student to trainer represents the realisation of our vision of digital inclusion –
a virtuous circle in which those who have benefited from our training programmes become catalysts for change themselves.
